Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DataBluesLabs ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information you provide through this website (www.datablueslabs.com) and during our engagements.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us, including:

  • Contact information — name, work email, phone number, company name and industry you provide via the enquiry form or by emailing us.
  • Project information — the project description and any context you share when discussing a potential engagement.
  • Technical information — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential engagement.
  • Prepare proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Communicate with you about services you have requested.
  • Comply with applicable legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

3. Client data during engagements

Any data, datasets or business information shared with us during an active engagement ("Client Data") remains the property of the Client and is handled in accordance with our Services Agreement. In particular:

  • Client Data resides inside the Client's own systems or Client-provided cloud infrastructure wherever possible.
  • We do not copy or store Client Data on personal or unauthorised systems except as strictly necessary to perform the Services and as permitted in writing by the Client.
  • On completion or termination of the engagement, we will return or delete Client Data on written request, save for copies that must be retained to comply with applicable law.

4. How we protect information

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to the information you provide, including strong authentication on accounts, encrypted credentials, and secure communication channels. We will promptly notify affected parties of any suspected security incident materially affecting their information.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our business (for example, email and cloud hosting), under appropriate confidentiality terms.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to enforce our legal rights.

6. Cookies

This website uses only essential cookies and standard server logs necessary for the site to function and to monitor performance. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have provided to us by emailing info@datablueslabs.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. International transfers

DataBluesLabs operates from India and may serve clients globally. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

9. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
